Anita Moore Lemmings, director of talent acquisition at American Health Partners, was a finalist for the 2019 Human Resources Professional Award from the Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Lemmings was recognized along with other finalists for the prestigious award in a ceremony last month in Nashville.
Each year the industry organization recognizes the contributions of human resource professionals in Tennessee. Nominees are considered based on service to the chapter, HR profession and community, as well as their professional history. Honorees are nominated for implementing best practices, making an impact on organization design and effectiveness, and aligning and accomplishing strategic goals in their companies.
“There is no one more deserving of this recognition than Anita,” said Jonathan Cooper, senior vice president of human resources and administration at American Health Partners. “She is very special to our company and we are thrilled she is being honored for the indisputable value she brings to American Health Partners and the human resources industry as a whole.”
Lemmings joined American Health Partners in 2012 as a human resources generalist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in organizational management at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.
