Data analytics veteran to streamline the company’s data collection and quality reporting
American Health Plans, a division of Franklin-based American Health Partners, has promoted Toni Brandt to the role of vice president of data, and quality reporting. In her new role, Brandt will lead risk management, analytics, provider database administration and credentialing for American Health Plans, which operates specialized Medicare Advantage plans in 11 states.
“Toni is a strong leader who has consistently delivered exceptional results that advance the overall business,” said Robin Bradley, chief operating officer for American Health Partners. “Promoting Toni into this role will better align our data and analytics team’s support of Quality deliverables which will ultimately improve the quality of care and the level of service we deliver to members of our Medicare Advantage plans.”
For the past five years, Brandt has served as the Assistant Vice President of Analytics, Risk and Provider Information where she was responsible for providing analytic and administrative oversight to nursing homes in several states where American Health Plans operates its Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plans (ISNP). These ISNP Medicare Advantage plans are designed specifically for residents in long term care settings and deliver a proactive, coordinated model of care to improve overall health and quality of life for members. American Health Plans manages the largest network of provider-owned Medicare Advantage ISNP plans in the United States with nearly 400 nursing homes and more than 5,000 members across 11 states.
Brandt holds a Master of Data Science from Lipscomb University. Before joining American Health Partners, she served as the Senior Domain Specialist for Vanderbilt University Medical Center and has 25 years of experience in data analytics for healthcare companies.
