American Health Plans Promotes Kari Voigtmann to Vice President of Field Operations

American Health Plans, the Medicare Advantage division of Franklin, Tenn.-based American Health Partners, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kari Voigtmann to Vice President of Field Operations.

In this role, Voigtmann will oversee field operations across Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. Voigtmann will focus on supporting partners’ success by driving operational efficiencies, ensuring clinical excellence, and delivering superior financial results.

Voigtmann brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in long-term care and health plan operations. She has served as a nursing home Administrator and later as Regional Director of Operations with American Health Communities (AHC). She has also held senior care leadership roles in Kentucky and Virginia. In 2019, she launched American Health Advantage of Tennessee as Executive Director, followed by Mississippi in 2021. As Senior Executive Director in 2022, she expanded her leadership to support multiple markets which delivered superior clinical and financial results and successfully led the launches of Iowa, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
