American Health Partners Appoints Angela Maxwell as Vice President of TruHealth

Veteran Leader Joins TruHealth to Accelerate Clinical Excellence and Strategic Growth. American Health Partners announced today that Angela Maxwell has joined the company as Vice President of TruHealth, its clinical services division. Maxwell brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience with a strong track record in clinical operations, value-based care, and strategic growth.

In her new role, Maxwell will guide the expansion of TruHealth Clinical Services, leveraging her clinical expertise and business acumen to broaden the reach of TruHealth programs beyond the Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP) model. Her focus will be on advancing proactive, coordinated care to improve outcomes for long-term care residents across all payor sources.

Maxwell most recently served as Senior Director of Clinical Operations and Strategy Advancement at Humana’s CenterWell Senior-Focused Primary Care Clinics, where she played a key role in advancing patient care models and scaling operations nationwide. She has also held senior leadership roles with Fusion5, Cardinal Health, GE Healthcare, and Baton Rouge General Medical Center.
