American Health Partners, a Franklin, Tenn.-based company that operates seven divisions that offer post-acute care services for seniors, has announced the promotion of Robin Bradley to the position of chief operating officer (COO).
Bradley, who has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, joined American Health Partners in 2016 as COO of its American Health Plans division, which owns and manages institutional special needs plans (I-SNPs) for seniors living in long-term care facilities. Health plan management has spanned Bradley’s career, including management of claims, credentialing and network operations.
“Robin has demonstrated the expertise, leadership and strategic vision to help American Health Partners achieve our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare and outstanding service,” said Michael Bailey, CEO of American Health Partners.
As COO of American Health Partners, Bradley will ensure the company has proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people and systems to optimize efficiencies and ensure financial strength across its divisions: American Health Communities, American Health Plans, Unity Psychiatric Care, Tennessee Quality Care, TruHealth, AmPharm and Rehab America.
“I’m passionate about improving access to affordable and convenient healthcare,” said Bradley, “and this role gives me the opportunity to help lead more than 4,300 colleagues at American Health Partners who share that passion. I’m looking forward to building collaborative partnerships that improve quality, outcomes and value in every facet of our business.”
Prior to joining American Health Plans, Bradley was vice president of administration for Unity Physician Partners Inc., which created a medical home model to improve care and reduce costs for patients with both physical and mental health conditions. She previously was vice president of administration for Windsor Health Plan, one of the earliest Medicare Advantage plans in the U.S., and Vanderbilt Health Plans, a provider-owned Medicaid plan.
Bradley received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia and her MBA and Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University.
