Jason Haney, VP of Operations for American Health Plans, has been selected as one of these high-performing individuals who represents an unwavering commitment to American Health Plans and the aging population the company serves.

 

With a record number of nominations, Haney is part of the 2021 class recognizing 40 individuals across the continuum of care. These leaders are laying a solid foundation for the future of aging care delivery and are actively improving health outcomes with a dedication to the wellbeing of aging populations.

Even with the COVID-19 challenges facing the industry, under Haney’s leadership, American Health Plans ISNP development continues to grow and thrive. Results over the past 24 months:

  • Increased ISNPs membership from 1,100 to 3,500 (218%)
  • Increased its state footprint from 4 to 8 (100%)
  • Increased participating facilities from 72 to 217 (201%)
  • Reduced unnecessary member hospitalizations by 30%
  • Reduced unnecessary member ER visits by 40%
  • Paid over $2,000,000 in partner Shared Savings in eligible markets
